Frequently asked questions about the Hotel
From what time is check-in possible?
Check-in is between 14: 00 clock and 18: 00 clock is possible.
If you wish to arrive outside of these times, please prior contact.
By what time do I have to check out on the day of departure?
Departure takes place on the departure day in the morningPlease refer to your booking confirmation for the exact time.
Is the reception staffed 24/7?
The reception is usually easily accessible. If you plan to arrive later, please let us know in advance.
What information must be provided at check-in?
A registration form is required at check-in. Arrival and departure dates, name, date of birth and nationality to fill out.
Is there parking available at the house?
Yes. They are standing. Free parking spaces directly at the house are available to support you.
Questions regarding Payment & Booking
Is a prepayment required?
No. No prepayment is necessary.
The entire stay will paid on site.
What means of payment are accepted?
Accepted Mastercard and Visa.
What are the cancellation policies?
A Free cancellation is possible up to 2 days before the arrival date. is possible.
What happens in case of a later cancellation or no-show?
For cancellations after this deadline or in case of no-show, 100% of the reservation amount calculated.

Is the Landgasthaus a non-smoking establishment?
Yes, our house is a Non-smoking establishmentSmoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas.
Are dogs or other pets allowed?
No. Dogs and other pets are not allowed in the restaurant or the hotel. We appreciate your understanding.

How can I request or book a room?
Rooms can be booked directly through the online booking system or about one Non-binding availability request .
On days off (Monday & Tuesday), form requests will not be processed.

Is breakfast included in the room price?
Breakfast is optionally bookable.
Prices vary depending on the room category and booking.
Is half board available?
Yes. Half board is against one Surcharge of €25,00 per person is possible.

Does the restaurant have any days off?
Yes. Monday and Tuesday These are days of rest.
On these days Breakfast only offered.

How far away is the Westerwald-Steig trail?
The Westerwald Trail It is only a few kilometers away and easily accessible.
Is the Landgasthaus suitable for hikers?
Yes. The house is located in Rhine-Westerwald Nature Park.
They reach nature in less than five minutes' walk.
Are there any hiking offers or tour information available?
The website contains detailed information about the stages of the Westerwald Trail as well as other hiking and excursion destinations.
Questions from Bikers, cyclists & hikers
Are there secure storage facilities for motorcycles and bicycles at the house?
Yes, of course. Protected parking facilities are available for motorcycles and bicycles, so you can park your vehicle safely and dry.
Is there a drying room for wet clothes or equipment?
Yes, we offer a drying room where wet motorcycle clothing, rain gear, hiking boots or cycling equipment can dry.
Are there parking spaces for trailers or larger vehicles?
Yes, there is ample parking available – also for motorcycle trailers or larger vehicles.
Can groups of bikers or hikers be accommodated?
Yes, groups are very welcome. However, please contact us in advance so that we can optimally coordinate rooms, dinners, and, if necessary, breakfast or packed lunches.
Do you offer packed lunches for cyclists or hikers?
We would be happy to prepare a customized packed lunch for your day's hike upon request. Just ask us!
Can tours start directly from the house?
Yes, many motorcycle, cycling, and hiking trails start practically right outside our door. You can reach nature, forests, and attractive routes in just a few minutes. Learn more here

Can celebrations or events be held here?
Yes. Available for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, meetings or bus trips. Rooms for up to 110 people are available to support you.
Are there set menus or buffets available for events?
Yes. We offer individual consultations and services. Menus and buffets as desired. Terrace and garden can be included.
